Lee Ufan has been an inspiration to me for years. I’ve always been loved the simplicity of a brush stroke. For this series, I brushed on cobalt oxide and applied a thick coat transparent glaze. My goal was for the cobalt brush stroke to fade from the brush, and also from gravity of the glaze pulling down in the firing.
